Segun Bono encontraron la inspiracion en la Sagrada Familia para diseñar el escenario.
U2 se fijó en la estructura de la Sagrada Familia de Barcelona para diseñar el escenario de su actual gira, "360º Tour", y por eso han decidido iniciarla en Barcelona, ciudad que acogerá, en el Camp Nou, los dos primeros conciertos, el 30 de junio y el 2 de julio. En una entrevista con TV3 recogida por Efe, el cantante de U2, Bono, y el bajista, Adam Clayton, han explicado algunos detalles del macromontaje que se podrá ver en esta gira, dominado por "La garra", un escenario central con cuatro patas y visible perfectamente desde cualquier posición del estadio del FC Barcelona. Además, Bono comenta que llevan dos semanas en Barcelona afinando el montaje y ensayando porque "queremos hacer algo que no ha hecho nadie antes", y añade que es "en directo cuando descubrimos de verdad nuestras canciones". "Siempre intentamos hacer algo no hecho antes, único", comenta el cantante irlandés mientras contempla la enorme estructura con la que pretenden, no obstante, "crear intimidad". "El tamaño, la medida, es necesaria para que todo el mundo pueda ver desde cualquier sitio, y eso permite que la energía no vaya desde el escenario, delante, hacia el público, sino que circule por todas partes", apunta el intérprete de "No line on the horizon", su último disco. Bono explica también que se les ocurrió este escenario viendo la Sagrada Familia de Barcelona hace un par de años, porque Gaudí construyó un sitio de culto y "la música es un asunto de culto, como Dios, o como tu amante, y por eso Gaudí nos va bien para hacer esto". A su juicio, las canciones y su capacidad para interpretarlas les mantienen con los pies en el suelo y con "sensatez", al igual que "mis hijos o que U2".
