Tonight's show is U2's 19th performance at the United Center, making them the act with the most appearances at this venue. It also makes United Center the second most-played venue in U2's career, behind only Madison Square Garden. Unfortunately, like several other shows this tour, the venue isn't sold out tonight, prompting several upper level sections behind the stage to be blocked off with curtains.
The actor Ashley Judd is at the show (for the second straight night), and gets Bono's "Beautiful Day" shoutout tonight. He also sings her praises before "One," saying she's soon headed to the Congo "to do God's work."
"Red Flag Day" is back in the set for the first time since Los Angeles on May 15.
