creo que si hay una cancion intocable para U2, esa es Streets. Mas que One o WOWY o la qu etu quieras

Vertigo Tour. Bono comentó algo así como que no veía que encajase en el concepto del Tour, hasta que se les ocurrió lo de las banderitas y África. A saber si exagera Bono, pero recuerdo haberlo leído en alguna entrevista (¿con Greg Kot, quizá? No sé).

BONO: (…) We discussed throwing Where The Streets Have No Name out because it was so important to the last tour, we thought how can we top that? Larry and Adam quite rightly put a stop to that.But we had to find a new way of showcasting the song, so we came up with digital flags. And I was standing on stage the night before we opened in San Diego in March with all these African flags, coming down, singing Where The Streets Have No Name, when I was reminded of something I had long ago forgotten – that I had written the lyrics for this song in a small village in northern Ethiopia on a scrab of paper, an Air India sick bag, I think. And here it was, nearly twenty years later, coming back to Africa, all the stuck about parched lands of deserts making sense for the first time. The hairs just stood up on the back of my neck, I could barely sing the song. And it was like that every night of the tour.
