Dear U2 Fan,

we are very happy to inform you that Friday 8th October 2010, during the U2 concert at Rome Olimpic Stadium, you will have the chance to be part of something absolutely special which will remain in the history of music; your help is not only precious but fundamental for the successful outcome of this project. Once again, as back in 2005 and in 2009 in Milan, U2Place has created a choreography to welcome U2 back to Italy; this time though the project is extremely ambitious!

As U2 will start playing “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” we ask the audience to raise the paper sheets that will be placed on each seat and hold them high for the entire duration of the song.

The choreography will involve about 52,000 among the people sitting on the Stadio Olimpico terraces:

• CURVA NORD, DISTINTI NORD OVEST and DISTINTI NORD EST: the audience in these sectors will make up a giant Italian flag.
• CURVA SUD, DISTINTI SUD OVEST and DISTINTI SUD EST: the audience in these sectors will make up a giant Irish flag.
• TRIBUNA TEVERE: the audience in this sector will “write” ONE with red paper sheets on a white background.

For support and further information you may ask the u2place.com members (wearing a U2Place t-shirt) that you will find on the terraces.

We are sure you will help us to turn the tonight concert into a special and unique experience for both the band and all the fans who are attending this wonderful show. The final effect will be extraordinary and U2 will never forget!
