Bono, 1989 (2)

Una noche de 1989 los miembros de U2 visitaron una tienda de kebab cerca de The Five Lamps, al norte de Dublín, donde Bono intentó entrar tras el mostrador a prepararse su propio kebab. El dependiente no le dejó hasta que el dueño llegó, reconoció a Bono y le dejaron prepararse el kebab. Bono estaba sorprendido de que el dependiente, que era dublinés, nunca hubiera escuchado hablar de U2 así que le hizo unos dibujos y una nota para su esposa y su hijo. La nota dice "Kathleen is swell, Bono is well, 89" y "Hanging with the 5 Lamps boys".

One night in 1989 the members of U2 visited a kebab shop near The Five Lamps, in the north of Dublin, where Bono tried to go behind the counter to make his own kebab. The assistant wouldn't let him and a stand off ensued until the owner arrived and recognised Bono as an old friend and told the assistant to let him make his own kebab. Bono was amazed that the kebab shop assistant, who was a Dubliner, had never heard of U2 so he drew these pictures and a note for the assistant's wife and children. The note reads, "Kathleen is swell, Bono is well, 89" and "Hanging with the 5 Lamps boys".
